Hey y'all!!  Thank you so much for stopping by!  My name is Emily McDowell.  My photography journey began at a very young age.  Images of butterflies and flowers in my backyard soon evolved into a love of capturing people in the beauty of nature.  While in high school, I began to pursue my dreams of becoming a professional photographer and started Emily Lauren Photography! In 2018, I graduated with a photography degree from North Georgia Technical College.

I strive to create images that are timeless and colorful.  No overexposed or dark and moody editing going on here! What excites me most about my craft is that I have the ability to freeze a moment in time.  It fills me with such joy that I am able to use this talent that God has blessed me with to provide my clients with something that they can treasure for a lifetime.  I am passionate about getting to know each and every client so that they feel comfortable and confident in front of my camera.  I strive to capture you at your very best and help display your unique personality.

I am based out of Northeast Georgia but I am willing to travel anywhere to be your photographer.  I love adventuring to new places with my clients! Whether it is the mountains, a tropical destination, or in my hometown, let's do it! :)
